All our lagard locks are supplied with free software, (Works up to windows 8) the TL11 is also supplied with large battery box as standard.
Can you fit an electronic lock to any safe.
It is fairly straight forward to fit an electronic lock like for like or change a combination to an electronic lock on really low grade safes, however if you are changing anything else it could become fairly complex if you do not understand exactly what you are doing.
Fitting the lock
Most graded safes have the same Euro lock footprint enabling the locks to be swapped over from a combination lock to an electronic lock.
If you have a key operated safe then the key way may require drilling to install the spindle and cable for the lock, you can also convert the safe to be twin locking by installing an electronic lock along-side the original key lock, This can be simpler in some cases but the safe will need to be drilled, the keypad backplate tapped and drilled along with the fixing points for the locks.
Can an electronic lock be fitted to any safe
If the safe has space to fit an electronic lock which 99% of safes have we can install a lock, if you are not sure simply email us the make and model or simply a photograph of the front and the inside, we will then also know if you will need a conversion kit to fit the lock.
If you are not mechanically minded or have not fitted locks before call us for a quote as it can be frustrating if a re-locker should jam the bolt work in the safe.
